WOW it is early!!!! Sometimes I wish I could just go back to being a kid, waking up and playing outside all day during the summer…. Well it’s fall so I guess I’d be in class, so on that note I’d rather be making money haha!
Did you guys have fun with your random act of kindness yesterday? I DID!! Totally paid it forward- Last week at work the Marketing team had a huge 3 day planning meeting for 2012. Wednesday I put together a team activity… BOWLING at Kings! I mean come on how could that not be fun?! Everyone had a blast and the event was awesome. Around lunchtime yesterday I got a delivery of KickAss Cupcakes from Kings thanking us for hosting our even there- how sweet… literally hahahah! I passed out some of the cupcakes to the other admins I work with who always help me out. Our security guard on the 1st floor is probably one of the nicest, sweetest people I’ve ever met so I thought I’d go down to see if he wanted one. I swear I’ve never seen someone so happy to be asked if they wanted a cupcake. AHH so nice, and made my entire day!
I was thinking about relationships this morning and how I feel so lucky to have such an amazing guy in my life. I hope you all find someone just as special out there. My biggest concern for friends and family is that I don’t want them to settle. I think people are just so scared to be alone sometimes, that they would rather be with someone who is just ok or someone who is completely wrong for them. When you’re alone- yes it can be scary, but it’s a huge opportunity for growth as well. You get to find out what YOU really want and what makes YOU happy. You don’t have to answer to anyone and you can make choices 100% on your own. Once you are truly happy with you, you’ll be able to find someone who loves you just the way you are… not just bits and pieces of you. I’m pretty much a disaster of a human being hmmm 85% of the time, but Seth loves me anyway- kind of amazing. I think people overanalyze relationships. If you love someone and they love you back, be with them, and be good to them. If someone can’t give you their whole heart and what you need then leave, it won’t be worth it to your heart down the line. TRUST ME, I know this sounds so much easier than it is, but it’s so very true. You are worth SO MUCH and you are AMAZING, don’t let anyone else make you feel any less. Love the ones that treat you right. Period. End of story.
